The Role

VP/ED, DCM Origination and Execution, IBD 

Key Accountabilities

• Senior member of DCM team to provide bond service to clients including client management, deal origination and execution, reporting to the Head of DCM;
• Make recommendations for issuance structure including size, currency and tenor etc.;
• Provide market update to clients and make recommendations for issuance timing and pricing;
• Work closely with internal fixed income sales team for marketing and gathering feedback from investors;
• Work closely within DCM team on transaction pitching and execution;
• Work closely with other banks' DCM teams on transaction execution;
• Provide guidance to junior members of the DCM team;
• Such other tasks assigned by supervisor from time to time.

Skills & Experience

• University graduate or higher, in finance, economics, accounting or law related degree preferred;
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in DCM obtained within investment banking, experience in offshore China DCM market is strongly preferred;
• Candidates with over 2 years of full time working experience in Hong Kong or overseas is considered as an advantage;
• Expect to be able to bring in own client relationships to help further develop DCM's business;
• Experience in a credit rating advisory role is a plus;
• Pleasant and presentable, a good team player;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
• Good written skill in English and Chinese. Fluent in Mandarin and English is mandatory, able to converse in Cantonese Is preferred.
