Job Description - WeLab Bank - Head of Channel Management

About You:



  • You're a go-getter with mad juggling skills (or multiple hats) who can thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment

What you’ll do and what success looks like:



  • Develop and execute sales strategies for unsecured personal loans, driving new customer acquisition through strategic partnerships

  • Oversee the full customer acquisition funnel (post-lead generation), optimizing conversion rates from application to loan disbursement and leading the Sales Team

  • Identify, negotiate, onboard, and manage referral partners, owning the partnership P&L to drive qualified loan applications

  • Build, coach, and manage a high-performing sales team responsible for application follow-up, document verification, and deal closure

  • Continuously enhance the sales process using technology and best practices to boost efficiency, customer experience, and conversion

  • Define and track key sales KPIs (conversion rates, disbursement volume, partner contribution, team productivity) and report to senior management

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Credit Risk, Technology, and Compliance teams



What we’re looking for:



  • Degree holder in business, finance or related discipline

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience with strong credit and relationship management background

  • Good communications, analytical and quantitative skills

  • Strong sense of ownership and client servicing mindset

  • Good team spirit and able to work independently

  • Highly motivated and eager to accept new challenges

  • Good command of both written and verbal English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
