About You:

What you’ll do and what success looks like:

• Identify and evaluate strategic partners for embedded lending opportunities, with a focus on new and cross-border channels.


• Lead and manage the end-to-end partnership process: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, contracting, launching and optimizing.


• Structure deals (revenue share, co-marketing, API integration) to maximize value for WeLab Bank and partners.


• Drive loan volumes by diversifying acquisition beyond direct/organic channels.


• Track partnership performance metrics: loan volume, CPA, revenue contribution, customer quality and risk.


• Collaborate closely with Product, Tech, Legal, Risk, and Ops to enable seamless integration and launch.


• Continually monitor market trends and competitor partnerships to identify new growth opportunities.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.


• 5+ years’ experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or channel sales (ideally in banking, fintech, or financial services).


• Demonstrated success negotiating and closing complex partnership deals.


• Strong analytical skills—able to assess opportunities, build business cases, and track sales/loan metrics.


• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.


• Comfortable navigating matrix organizations and collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Risk, Legal, Ops).


• Highly proactive self-starter with strong commercial instincts.


• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
