Job Description - WeLab Group - Assistant Manager, Group People & Culture

About this role:



  • As an Assistant Manager of People & Culture, you will play an impactful role in building and nurturing our most valuable asset – our People. Your primary focus will be attracting talent and fostering a high-performance culture to support our ambitious growth plans. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team focused on driving innovation and business success.



What you’ll do and what success looks like in this role:



  • Partner with HRBPs and hiring managers to develop and execute recruitment strategies, as well as manage the entire recruitment cycle, including the development of search plan, sourcing channels, and delivery to ensure successful closure within the identified time frame.

  • Build stakeholder relationships and communicate consistently throughout the recruitment cycle to ensure all parties involved in the hiring process are managed effectively.

  • Build recruitment dashboards and analyze key metrics to generate insights and drive resourcing effectiveness.

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

  • Manage the pre-employment onboarding operations and requirements in a timely manner.

  • Develop relationships with external talent communities, education institutions, and other talent channels to ensure a solid talent pipeline.

  • Work closely with HRBPs in other People & Culture initiatives including, but not limited to, talent mapping, employer branding, improved talent acquisition strategy, employee engagement and talent development programs.

  • Stay on top of market trends of talent acquisition and competitive landscape to drive continuous improvement to attract top talent for the organization.



What is required and what we’re looking for:



  • Bachelor’s degree holder in Human Resources, business, or related disciplines

  • At least 5 years of experience in talent acquisition or generalist role, ideally in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Good influencing skills with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders

  • Able to formulate a sustainable recruitment strategy

  • Able to manage multi-tasking and handle conflicting demands

  • A good team player and with a #nevernotmyjob attitude

  • Attentive to details and possess good organizational skills

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
