WTAN - Commodities Quantitative Developer

Role overview:

The Quantitative Developer will sit within a commodities team in Singapore, with a focus on the broad metals and bulks universe.

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement a research platform for feature engineering, model fitting, strategy monetization
• Work with fundamental analysts to codify supply and demand models and implement in a python environment
• Maintain automatic fundamental data pipeline updates
• Conduct backtests of fundamental modelled outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Python development. Experience with visualization is preferred.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud computing experience, as well as development tools like Docker and/or Jenkins
• Proven track record in building and owning complex systems
• SQL knowledge is required. Experience with time series modelling from a data storage and manipulation perspective would be beneficial
• Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
