Job Description - Assistant Account Manager, Travel Retail

General Summary:

To implement commercial plans in assigned territories to achieve annual regional net sales target, gross margin, direct contribution, and EBIT.

Job Responsibilities:

Account Management

  • Support travel retail daily operation to maintain execution excellence.
  • Assist team to manage existing travel retail customers to maintain business growth.
  • Explore new business opportunity and prepare sales proposal.
  • Handle customer regular order and resolve customer issues.
  • Maximize listings with increase merchandising space, point-of-sales and digital footprint.

 

Field Sales Activities Management

  • Assist Senior Account Manager to ensure brand image is maintained with proper merchandising display, stock availability, freshness and ranging. 
  • Prepare planograms and visibility action plan.
  • Implement brand activations, promotional plans, and new product launches.
  • Support opening and managing stand-alone shops in travel retail.

 

Order Management

  • Liaise with customers on order placement and follow up.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy and order fulfilment rate. 

 

Sales Analysis & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales report, management reports and presentations.
  • Monthly review on customer profit & loss report to improve profitability.
  • Collect market intelligent and monitor competitions’ activities.

 

Training & QA

  • Prepare training materials and conduct training session to front line shop staffs.
  • Coordinate and follow up on yearly QA audits.

 

Job Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Management or related disciplines
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in account management or business development role. Preferably with FMCG or luxury segment experience
  • Understand key Asia markets dynamics and prior experience in travel retail industry is preferred.
  • Willing to travel extensively and able to work under pressure.
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • Good organizational and analytical skills
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, ambitious, independent, enthusiastic and a team player.
  • Proficient in PC application and MS office
