Assistant Finance Manager

The Company

My client is a multinational wholesale company, they are looking for candidates from wholesale/ product based/ trading/ retail company to join their team. Candidates with Oracle experience is highly preferred.

The Role

• Responsible for managing accounting tasks such as general ledger, Accounts Receivables, and Accounts Payable specifically for the Asia Pacific region.
• Conduct month-end closing procedures for various entities.
• Supervise and oversee activities related to Rebate accounting, AR billing, collection, AP invoice processing, and payment.
• Provide guidance and support to Assistant Accountants and an outsourced accounting firm.
• Compile a monthly reporting package and create a cash flow forecast.
• Analyze monthly profit and loss statements for APAC, comparing them to previous months, projections, and the budget.
• Prepare reconciliations for the balance sheet and take necessary steps to resolve any outstanding matters.
• Review monthly intercompany billings and ensure they are reconciled correctly.
• Monitor the performance and accuracy of the outsourced accounting vendor, ensuring they adhere to the agreed Service Level Agreement.
• Collaborate with a tax firm to calculate and file local Income Tax.
• Perform additional miscellaneous tasks as required.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree/ diploma in accounting/ finance/ economics or related.
• 8 - 18 years of experience.
• With Oracle experience is a plus
• Flexible, hand-on, detail-oriented with strong business sense, problem solving skill
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
