Job Description - HR Manager (Global Luxury Brand)

My client, a luxury retail brand is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. As the HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the overall HR strategy and initiatives, ensuring the alignment of HR practices with the brand's values and business objectives. You will oversee various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and HR compliance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and policies that support the overall business objectives and foster a positive and inclusive work culture within the luxury retail environment.
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting top talent that aligns with the brand's values and requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Oversee the compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive, compliant with legal requirements, and aligned with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills, promote professional growth, and support the brand's talent development initiatives.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices, industry trends, and legal requirements, and proactively recommend improvements to HR processes and policies

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, preferably within the luxury retail industry
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations related to HR practices.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing HR team.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
