Job Description - Sales Manager, Hong Kong

Geek+ is an advanced robotics technology company specialized in smart logistic solutions. Clients include Fortune 500 companies, and leaders in retail, apparel, automotive, ecommerce, manufacturing and more. Geek+ has over 1500 employees and offices in China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Germany, the UK and the US.

What you have to do

  • Oversee the entire sales process for the Hong Kong market, including identifying target markets, developing sales strategies, and executing sales plans
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and networking, working closely with local teams to develop sales pipelines and achieve sales targets
  • Manage, strengthen, and expand a portfolio of corporate clients, both new and existing, by providing excellent customer service and building long-term relationships
  • Attend client meetings, understand client needs, and prepare compelling business proposals and quotations to effectively address client requirements
  • Work with the marketing team to prepare and attend trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events to approach new customers, generate leads, and promote the company’s products
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of the company’s products
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster organic growth, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Regularly update the CRM system with accurate and up-to-date information on sales activities, customer interactions, and opportunities

 

What you need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • 5 years of solid experience in sales or business development within the logistics, 3PL, warehouse operations, automation, or similar industries
  • Demonstrated success track record in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and managing corporate clients
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyse sales data and market trends to drive informed decision-making
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
