Senior Design & Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of design managers and interior designers to manage the interior and shopfront design of mall tenants, design of mall’s front-of-house areas and aesthetic decorations of the Corporation’s existing shopping malls
• Manage external consultants and contractors and liaise with internal departments on mall design, operational and technical related matters, and lead renovation and alteration and addition works to existing retail developments
• Oversee existing shopping malls’ design strategies in a holistic manner to ensure that related construction and design are carried out in accordance with the market position, leasing strategies and plans, and business priorities
• Identify improvement areas and introduce appropriate new innovations to enhance the sustainability of shopping malls’ front-of-house areas
• Provide technical and design advice on new commercial development projects of the Corporation

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture / Surveying / Interior Design or a related discipline
• A minimum of 12 years’ relevant experience for commercial developments or shopping malls or related segments, of which 4 years should be at managerial / supervisory level
• Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognized professional institution, such as HKIA and HKIS, is an advantage
• Positive attitude, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both spoken and written Chinese and English
• Able to collaborate effectively with the team, preferably with good artistic sense and market sensitivity
