Content & Communication Officer

As a pivotal figure in the school, the Content & Communication Officer plays a crucial role in shaping the institution's identity, engaging with students, parents, and faculty, and championing educational initiatives. This dynamic role entails creating compelling and informative content for a variety of platforms, including the school website, social media channels, newsletters, and press releases. By skillfully crafting narratives that showcase the school's accomplishments, events, and academic offerings, this position fosters unity, attracts potential students, and nurtures positive relationships with stakeholders. Through adept communication strategies and content creation, the Content & Communication Officer actively contributes to bolstering the school's reputation, amplifying its presence, and fortifying connections within the internal and external school community.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create and publish rich engaging content across the school’s social media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram. 
• Capable of handling video shooting, post-production editing, photo retouching, animation and visual effects.
• Be the contact person for the PTA and work to liaise school content and work to inform them of school events & activities.
• Maintain and update the school calendars & events.
• Provide creative ideas and be aware of new trends to build brand awareness.
• Develop a consistent brand image across multiple platforms.
• Graphic design for sales & marketing materials.
• Photography and photo editing.
• Stay current on industry trends and successfully create and implement them in our marketing strategy.
• Perform ad-hoc projects or related tasks/duties as the Marketing Manager assigns.

 

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of related media content production, broadcasting, or media design experience.
• Must have experience in communications, videography, photography, content creation & marketing.
• Good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a wide variety of internal and external resources.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud - Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc is a MUST.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 & Google Drive Suite.
• Positive, Passionate and Outgoing.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
• ⁠Sample works and/or (online) portfolio for reference is a MUST.
• Must be able to work legally in Hong Kong.
• Recent job references will be required.
