Job Description - Merchandising Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Highly ensure accuracy on development works submitted to customer and reports to supervisors.
  • Manage all round resources and always keeping an adequate cost control.
  • Handle sales forecasting and budgeting for your area of business. 
  • Ensure the team(s) follow with company’s procedures and policies.
  • Ensure effective communication between different stakeholders.
  • Problem solving whenever needed.
  • Provide on the job training to team members, aim to enhance their all-round knowledges on required work assigned to them. 
  • Always ensure a high standard of team’s performance. 
  • Travelling to overseas for marketing trip, sampling, order follow-up or factory visit.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Higher Diploma or above, preferably major in Fashion / Textile Marketing / Merchandising
  • Minimum 10 years relevant working experience in merchandising industry.
  • Strong garment knowledge for woven casual, technical and performance wear.
  • High sensitivity to market trend on relevant products and, strong on sourcing and costing.
  • Ability to motivate, develop and train team members.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).
  • Good computer and presentation skills.
  • Familiar with Microsoft, Word, and Excel computer.
