Job Description - Assistant Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team in planning, executing, and overseeing all online and offline marketing initiatives, demonstrating problem-solving skills throughout the process.
  • Continuously analyze market data and consumer research to gain insights and identify business opportunities for brand growth and new product ideas; be able to prepare comprehensive reports based on these findings.
  • Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and develop reports accordingly. Assist with budget planning for marketing activities.
  • Work closely with internal and external parties to develop insightful and actionable briefs, including proposals, press materials, and social media content, to drive high-quality output and achieve defined business and marketing objectives.
  • Develop marketing plans and proposals with strategic tactics, aiming to achieve sales targets and generate new business opportunities.
  • Take responsibility for the production of marketing collaterals and souvenirs.
  • Manage and enhance digital platforms, such as websites, eShops, social media channels, media advertising, and collaborations with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and influencers, to engage consumers through multiple touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to develop strategic plans and creative visuals that enhance brand presence and achieve business targets.
  • Research market trends, consumer needs, emerging technologies, and competitive environments to assist in identifying new marketing opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and media partners and promptly follow up on inquiries.
  • Occasionally travel for business purposes if needed.
  • Provide support for any ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Communications, or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years or above related working experiences, preferably within the retail industry
  • A well-established network with media and artistes/artist management companies; a proven track record of excellent media relations experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent command of written & spoken Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with a pleasant and outgoing personality
  • Be proactive, self-motivated, and well-organized with mature and detail-minded
  • Ability to work as a team and promote team effectiveness
  • Proficiency in using MS Office Applications and Chinese word processing
  • Experience in setting up websites, content writing, digital buying, and data analysis (e.g., Google analytics, Facebook analytics), Live streaming / CRM experience, and basic video editing is an advantage.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
