Assistant Operations Manager

Purpose of the Job

The incumbent will assist in managing daily supply chain operations and optimizing. He/ she will be required to develop and maintain close relationships with different internal teams and external logistics services providers to ensure an efficient operation.  

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the team to oversee daily operations from order management, warehousing, and distribution to ensure a seamless operation.
• Assist manager to develop and implement plans to optimise the supply chain operations, including but not limited to order fulfilment and logistics coordination.
• Develop and review standard procedures and policies to ensure service quality and business compliance,
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with business partners, external vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct analysis on team KPI for identifying improvement areas and lead the team to fulfill KPIs.
• Assist to prepare annual budget and forecast for supply chain operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, Operation Management, or related disciplines
• At least 8 years relevant experience in logistics operations / supply chain management, with 2 years at supervisory role is preferred.
• Experience in consumer electronic products / beverage / cosmetics industry is advantage
• Strong communication skills with analytical mindset
• Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Operations Manager
