AVP, Treasury Accounting

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily treasury products (FICC and derivatives) P/L summary, position reconciliation and hedge accounting;
• Perform month end ledger closing activities for treasury business;
• Provide traders/banking book financial information and reports to other departments / teams;
• Prepare financial analysis and various disclosures for interim and annual report;
• Collaborate and co-ordinate with Front Desk, Settlement Department and Risk Department to support the business

Requirements

• University graduate in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
• Minimum 5 years work experiences in financial institutions and exposure in Treasury Accounting / Product Control;
• Preferably with recognized professional qualification
• Conversant with MS Excel with VBA skills, accounting and reporting system, in particular Oracle Financials
• A team player with good problem solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge in Finastra Kondor is an advantage
• Knowledge in Bloomberg is an advantage
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese including Mandarin
• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Manager
