Job Description - Business Development and Sales

Our client a Luxury watch and Diamond company is looking to hire Business Development and Sales .

  • Extensive knowledge of diamonds sales, GIA, IGI certified stones
  • Liaison and negotiation with suppliers in Hong Kong.
  • Discuss, educate and advise on watch brands and models, as well as introduce new customers .
  • Utilize our CRM platform to manage and document new and existing customer relationships and interactions. Leverage the system to stay connected to customers and provide personalized experiences
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the watch industry, including market prices and conditions. Ensure you are well versed in historical pricing, watch specifications / condition / nuances for our catalog of consigned watches
  • Plan, organize and implement exhibitions
  • Develop marketing and promotional materials
  • Understand current trends in local, foreign markets and suggest new lines
  • Develop marketing strategies for S.E. Asia
  • Improve and develop relationship with customers in S.E. Asia
  • Administer effective distribution/internal transfer of merchandise to the retail stores
  • Work together with other functional managers within the country (sales, pre-sales, marketing and inside sales)
  • Be able to demonstrate a track record of success in acquiring and developing Channel partners
  • Creating an annual sales budget and analysing this on a monthly basis with the Brand manager and Creative Director
  • Responsible for developing and executing of physical and digital marketing campaigns
  • Maintaining our website and basic data analysis on performance 
  • Product Photography and Photo Editing for Luxury Products
  • Maintain timely & accurate financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and reports for govt. regulatory agencies/statutory processes
  • Assist the manager in preparing comprehensive Financial MIS like group consolidation expenses and P & L statements which are to be re shared with Management
  • Co-ordination with team and the Manager for preparation of audit schedules and details during finalisation of Accounts.
  • To conduct monthly financial/managerial and financial KPI analysis report
  • Develops finance organizational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction; establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities; projecting acquisition and expansion prospects; analyzing organization operations; identifying opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and systems enhancement; accumulating capital to fund expansion.
  • Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.
  • Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; maintaining relationships with the investment community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business
  • GIA Certified is good to have
  • Experience in GIA certified diamond and jewellery sales development experience. 
  • Implementation of quality systems, training, and development of staff, feedback information.
  • Willing to be part of an ambitious, successful, fast growing company, offering unique and disruptive technology that addresses the security business needs of a fast growing customer and prospect base.
  • Proficient in Adobe Design Software, such as Photoshop and Illustrator, etc.
  • Excellent photography skill is mandatory
  • A passion for social media and content creation 
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury retail, preferably in luxury watches
  • Sound knowledge in Watch & Jewelry industry is a definite asset
