Cloud Developer (API)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Cloud API Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and dependable APIs on cloud platforms, specifically Kubernetes (K8S) and OpenShift. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kafka, Java, and ACE or equivalent technologies, along with a deep understanding of cloud computing and API development.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs and microservices on cloud platforms such as Kubernetes (K8S) and OpenShift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
• Utilize Kafka for data streaming and implement event-driven architecture.
• Enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure seamless deployment and monitoring of APIs.
• Architect and implement APIs that are scalable, secure, and user-friendly.
• Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure exceptional quality of the API code.
• Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure proper deployment, monitoring, and logging of APIs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in API development using Java and Kafka.
• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes (K8S) and OpenShift.
• Familiarity with ACE or equivalent technologies.
• Thorough understanding of RESTful API design principles and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes deployments, services, and pods.
• Strong grasp of containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Familiarity with OpenShift's built-in features, including build configurations, deployment configurations, and routes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese.
