Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineer

Collaborate with users to collect and clarify requirements. Conduct architecture design and machine learning development to meet business requirements

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and IT users to collect and clarify requirements
• Conduct end-to-end architecture design, data engineering, data analysis, and machine learning development to meet business requirements
• Develop and deliver logical and physical architecture and designs that in alignment with business needs
• Implement projects using best industrial practices and deliver high-quality results
• Work closely with business sponsors to identify opportunities, analyze, and interpret trends or pattern

Requirements

• University graduate in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or in a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience in data or infrastructure architecture in financial services and/or Fintech related industries
• Experience in data platform design, business intelligence, data visualization, data lake, data warehouse, ETL solutions, and big data platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one of the following skill sets: SQL, PL/SQL, Python, Scala, C#, Java, Oracle, Informatica, Qlik, Tableau, Power BI
• Knowledge and experience in Machine Learning-related technologies are a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese
