Event Associate/ Executive

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for the execution of all production and operational aspects of clients’ events from account servicing, managing project budget and timeline to implementing technical, logistics elements and on-site executions 
• Executing events smoothly in achieving project target, to meet clients’ expectations and the company’s profit margin 
• Setting, communicating and maintaining priorities and deadlines on every project 
• Maintaining and developing client and vendor relationships 
• Develop proposals, contracts and quotations with clients; and negotiate contracts and invoices with vendors. 
• Develop work plans and production schedules
• Develop event concept development, design, floorplans and renderings
• Managing and coordinating with contractors, suppliers, partners and all events logistics 
• Travelling to onsite inspections, manage venue built-out, overseeing setup overnight, dismantling and removal of the production and clear the venue efficiently
• Handling client queries and troubleshooting on event day to ensure the event is executed successfully

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Event or Marketing related field (Candidates with 2 years or less experience will be considered for the Position of Executive)
• Enthusiastic in executing a wide variety of events and promotions
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Negotiation skills to obtain the best price from venues, suppliers and contractors
• Is self-motivated and a problem-solver
• Time management skills and ability to work in a high-paced, high-pressure environment
• Has a flexible, target-driven, proactive approach and attitude 
• Willingness to work additional hours and work on weekends as needed
• Good command of written & spoken English and Mandarin
