Finance Manager (Project management)

Our client is seeking an articulate finance manager to play a pivotal role in improving operational performance. Reporting to the CFO, this role will oversee the project's internal control and provide strategic recommendations to drive efficiencies and support growth initiatives.

• Internal control, risk assessment, business partnering
• Serve as the key liaison between internal and external parties
• Good communication & stakeholder management skills

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with operational teams to understand their financial requirements and offer timely, data-backed insights.
• Prepare reports for control assessment, provide recommendations, and follow up on implementation
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential risks and develop appropriate audit plans
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and policies
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal departments and external parties, overseeing the transition of outsourced operations and ongoing management.
• Recognise potential risks and opportunities within operations and propose improvement strategies.
• Support decision-making processes through financial analyses

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent discipline with CPA qualification
• A minimum five years of relevant working experience. Previous experience working in external accounting firms (big4, 2nd tier) is desirable
• Proven track record of optimizing processes and delivering financial efficiencies is highly preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate cross-functionally
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Possesses excellent communication skills with good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
