Frontend Engineer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and debugging responsive web and mobile applications for the company. Using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, this candidate will be able to translate user and business needs into functional frontend design. 

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and testing UI for mobile and web applications
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Accurately translate user and business needs into functional frontend code

Qualifications :

• Strong front-end skills (HTML5, CSS3) and an eye for design, UX and accessibility
• A passion for aesthetics and smooth UIs
• Good knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+, TypeScript)
• Computer science fundamentals and JavaScript design patterns
• Commercial React.js ja Next.js
• Experience building high-performance and scalable applications
• Experience with Preprocessors (Babel / ES6-transpiler), Transpilers (SCSS / Stylus / SASS / LESS) and CSS methodologies (BEM)
• Passion for writing clean, standards-compliant, scalable, reusable, testable quality code
• Strong working knowledge developing cross platform/browser compatible services
• Believer in TDD test driven development and continuous deployment
• Experience with contentful
• Proven commercial experience in translation of interaction and visual designs into production quality front-end experiences
• Experience with sprint-based Agile methodology
• Knowledge of using Jira, and solid Git workflow experience
• Degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent experience
• Fluent English skills
