Functional Safety Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Certification project execution, independently (or with the company's French team) implement functional safety certification projects, such as certification document review, on-site audit, evaluation report preparation, etc.
• Consulting project execution, providing customers with
IEC61508 standard training, functional safety related technical support (product development, safety analysis, etc.)

• Pre-sales support, cooperate with the sales team to conduct technical exchanges with potential customers, prepare technical solutions, etc.
• Assist in formulating marketing strategies for functional safety related businesses, and cooperate with the Marketing Department to carry out product marketing activities
• Develop and maintain own technical capabilities and relevant qualifications, and ensure continuous contact and information exchange with internal and external interfaces
• Other tasks assigned by the company.

Job requirements:

• Education: Master degree or above, electrical /electronic engineering, automation, embedded development or other related majors
• Excellent communication skills and business awareness
• Good English skills (no barrier in written communication, oral communication can meet the work communication in a professional context)
• 3 years or more of experience in industrial product development (sensor/controller, system/hardware/software) or functional safety engineer experience is preferred
• Familiar with IEC61508 or related safety standards (such as IEC 61511 / ISO 26262 / SAE J2980 / ISO 13849 / UL4600, etc.) is preferred
• Familiar with common safety analysis methods (FTA/FMEDA/DFA, etc.), or with functional safety audit and assessment experience is preferred
