Key responsibilities

• Reporting to the Head of Procurement and leading a mid-sized team
• Lead the global sourcing strategies with aim to drive cost savings, process enhancement and improved efficiency
• Scope of indirect purchasing activities for global entities covering categories such as: facility, spare parts, equipment, tooling, MRO, CAPEX and other indirect areas
• Project management on various enhancement projects
• Evaluate current supplier performance, optimize supplier resources and continue to develop new suppliers globally
• Handle contract tendering, negotiation, implementation and ongoing management
• Position is based in South China

Role requirements

• A Degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
• Solid 12+ years sourcing and procurement experience in the manufacturing industry with exposure in automated manufacturing ideal
• Prove track record in driving cost savings and efficiency enhancement
• Regional/ global project management expertise
• Demonstrated excellence in managing complex and regional/ global stakeholders relationships and alignment on expectations &outcome
• Dynamic leadership with strategic decision making and ability to utilize data for cost saving initiatives
• Excellent negotiations skills with a sound analytic mind & problem-solving ability
• Fluency in written and spoken English & Chinese is a must
