Reporting of the role 

This role reports to Regional Financial Analyst, GroupM APAC

In this role, your goals will be:
In three months: 

• Familiar with the Reporting system and able to manage the fundamental data retrieve excel template modification and management reporting.
• Review the financial closing and books of regional offices.
• Built relationships with the key stakeholders across the region.
• Understood P&L structures and performance indicators, reporting requirements, WPP and GroupM finance and accounting policies and practices.

 In six months: 

• Developed your understanding of GroupM’s businesses structure.
• Possessed solid understanding of the regional reporting, budget, forecast and analysis requirement. Support the related reporting and analysis.
• You will be able to make comments on the financial performance of the business. 

  

In 12 months: 

• Support the information and analysis request from Senior Management effectively. Manage change request and provide financial guidance to country and regional office finance independently.

  

What your day job looks like at GroupM:  

 

Working closely with regional and country finance team on reviewing the financial report and performance for the region.  Provide financial analysis and report to support business decision making.  Ensure compliance for the regional reporting requirement, support process improvement and ad hoc projects.  

 

• Prepare the monthly management report, commentary and KPI reports.
• Support financial budget and forecast report preparation for the region.
• Act as a business partner for regional offices (e.g. APAC office, IT etc), review the month end closing report, forecast and provide financial support for country finance.
• Provide the financial information and analysis required by global, region and senior management.
• Support process improvement and ad hoc projects.

  

What you will bring: 

• Degree in Accounting/ Finance or related studies, ACCA/CPA or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of finance, FP&A or audit experience in sizable organization.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Independent, attentive to details, organized, proactive and eager to learn.  Able to meet tight deadlines in a fast pace environment with multiple entities and business units.

• High proficient in MS office (Excel and macros).  Experience in Hyperion, SAP or similar reporting applications is a definite advantage.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin
