Logistics Planner

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end logistics operations and oversee shipment coordination
• Responsible in production planning & scheduling, inventory monitoring & control and other logistics or production related functions
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies for enhancing the productivity, efficiency and quality of the department
• Coordinate with factories, QA departments, internal and external customers in production and logistics related activities 
• Evaluate existing and potential sub-contractors; control material cost and drive quality improvement of supplier
• Monitor logistics cost and review slow-moving stock 
• Handle queries and complaints from customers or sales 
• Maintain the data in ERP system in an accurate and a timely manner
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments, analysis and reporting 
• Provide support to other logistics functions as required

Requirements:

• Degree holder in related discipline 
• 2 years or more working experience in the logistics field with inventory planning experience
• Experience in handling sea shipment is preferred
• Experience in the chemical industry would be highly advantageous
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and fast Chinese typing 
• Hands-on experience with ERP system is a MUST
• Good command of written and spoken English & Chinese (both Putonghua & Cantonese) 
• Well-organized with positive working attitude and good communication skill
