Position Summary:
A seasoned e-commerce and marketing professional specialized in develop ing and implement ing effective s trateg ies to identify and generate new and repeated customers through the website , call centers, walk-ins, and roadshows.
This person will work closely with the International Marketing Team in driving the day-to-day business activities, while also leading the market to achieve the overall direct channel Guest and NTR targets, as well as the website key performance metrics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for driving direct sales strategy through the website, call centers, walk-ins, and roadshows to achieve sales target
- Oversee and formulate digital and e-commerce strategy and ensure correct implementation of the same regional digital projects including project timelines, milestones and consistent evaluation
- Collaborate to streamline digital priorities based on local market realities - including UX/UI enhancements, social media, e-CRM, SEO/SEM, e-commerce, analytics
- Work closely with the marketing, call center, and revenue management team to design and implement promotions and other campaigns
- Initiate, plan and execute sales campaigns including brand and flash promotion, consumer promotion, incentive program, events, roadshows, seminars, etc
- Grow and engage with consumer database through online and offline activities, including email marketing, lead acquisition activities, expos, and seminars
- Initiate, plan and roll-out partnership or other relevant activation program to drive business for direct sales
- Work in conjunction with corporate team to ensure effective execution of Preferred Partner Program or any other relevant programs, including but not limit to regular e-newsletter, point-of-sales materials, seminars, etc.
- Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant company functions are kept informed of direct sales activities
- Analyze digital and sales activities performance and provide recommendations or key learnings wherever required
Financial Responsibilities
- Achievement of annual direct sales NTR and passenger KPIs
- Financial P&L responsibilities
- Contract oversight for vendors & partnerships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree holder with minimum 5 years of experience in a combination of Business Development, e-Commerce and marketing communication
- Proven track record of managing various projects
- A self-starter attitude with a lot of passion for direct business and a zeal for creative ideas
- Previous working experience with international hotel, outbound travel agencies, airlines, cruises or theme park would be a plus
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience managing eCommerce promotions and site operations
- Strong analytical skills required including demonstrated ability in performance analysis, insights digging, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations
- Digital savvy and familiar with online database, emailing and analytics tools that work for RCL HK website
- Proven strength in SEM, paid social strategies, and SEO
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese; Mandarin an advantage
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills; Ability to collaborate with external and internal parties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, collaborative environment
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
