Job Description - Manager, HR (Talent Management)

Job Summary:

The Manager, Talent Management is responsible for overseeing and implementing talent management strategies and initiatives within the organization. They will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring the organization has a strong pipeline of skilled individuals for current and future needs. The Manager, Talent Management will play a critical role in driving employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement talent management strategies and programs to attract, develop, and retain high-potential employees.

2. Collaborate with HR business partners and hiring managers to identify key talent needs and create talent acquisition plans.

3. Design and implement comprehensive performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans.

4. Lead succession planning efforts, identifying high-potential employees and developing talent pools for key positions.

5. Design and deliver leadership development programs, including training, coaching, and mentoring initiatives.

6. Partner with the HR team to ensure effective onboarding and integration of new hires into the organization.

7. Drive employee engagement initiatives, including employee surveys, feedback mechanisms, and recognition programs.

8. Monitor and analyze talent metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.

9. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in talent management, and introduce innovative approaches to enhance talent strategies.

10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational development initiatives and change management efforts.

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 8 + years of experience and proven track record in talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.

- Strong knowledge of performance management processes and best practices.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

- Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training programs and initiatives.

- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret talent data and make strategic recommendations.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Proficiency in HRIS and talent management systems.

- Professional certifications in talent management or related fields are desirable.
