As an Oncology Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will play a vital role in promoting our oncology products, fostering relationships with healthcare professionals, and driving sales growth in your territory.
Position Overview:
As an Oncology Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling the oncology products to healthcare professionals including oncologists, haematologists, and other key stakeholders. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets, while providing exceptional customer service and support to healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote oncology products to healthcare professionals in assigned territory, including hospitals, clinics, and specialty pharmacies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders, oncologists, hematologists, and other healthcare providers to increase product awareness and drive sales growth.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to effectively reach and exceed sales targets.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and clinical information to healthcare professionals through one-on-one interactions, group presentations, and educational events.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory, including identifying and targeting potential customers and expanding product usage in existing accounts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, medical affairs, and market access to ensure alignment and maximize product success.
- Utilize CRM systems and other tools to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and generate sales reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or related field required; advanced degree (e.g., PharmD, MBA) preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with a proven track record of success in oncology or specialty pharmaceuticals preferred.
- Strong understanding of oncology therapeutic area and experience working with oncology healthcare professionals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific information.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems.
