Senior Finance Manager

We are looking for a high calibre professional with strong financial background to fill the position of Senior Finance Manager. Candidate must have more than 15 years of experience in finance field of which at least 5 years at managerial level. Experience in education sector would be an advantage. Candidate with less experience may be considered for the position of Finance Manager.

Job Scope

• Oversee and supervise subordinates to handle daily accounting operation works, treasury functions and internal control on accounting processes.
• Review the month-end closing and prepare the financial report with analysis of the operation result and highlight the financial position for management attention.
• Liaise with bankers for term deposit and other banking issues.
• Report and liaise with relevant government departments such as Education Bureau, Company Registry and IRAS on submission of school fees revision, audited accounts for annual filing, written resolution on bank/finance matters and annual tax filings etc.
• Prepare the consolidated financial statements for year-end audit and liaise with auditors on audit reports.
• Prepare the annual school operating budget with incorporation of other departmental budgets and school projects.
• Ongoing review of accounting policies and ensure the compliance of HK Financial Reporting Standards and statutory requirements.

Requirements 

• A university degree in Accountancy or related areas with CPA qualification
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in managerial position
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of accounting standards
• Knowledge of ACCPAC accounting system
• A dynamic and highly driven individual with strong communication and analytical skills
• Excellent people and leadership skills
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese
• Experience in strategic planning and familiarity with guidelines relating to school finances would be an advantage
