Senior Frontend Developer

My client, a firm backed by a reputable global consulting group, are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior frontend engineer to play a pivotal role in their organization. As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for driving technical decisions, leading development efforts, and ensuring the formation of a high-performing engineering team. Your expertise in backend and infrastructure aspects, coupled with your proficiency in coding, will be instrumental in the success of their organization.

Responsibilities:

• Drive and facilitate technical decisions, collaborate closely with product and design teams, establish priorities, and lead all development efforts.
• Demonstrate proficiency in coding, particularly in backend and infrastructure aspects, to contribute directly to the development process.
• Ensure the formation of a high-performing engineering team, initially including freelancers, and eventually build and lead your own team.

What you offer:

• Technical expertise in architecture and design, data modeling/design, data management, infrastructure/DevOps, and authentication (Auth).
• Knowledge of web3 technology, including Solidity/smart contract programming and ERC standards highly preferred.
• Experience in leading the development life cycle.
• Advocacy for engineering best practices.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with common frameworks and tech stacks.
• Experience with Next.js, Supabase, Postgres, and familiarity with the Shopify API is a significant advantage.

• Adaptability in your role, as it may vary day-to-day, and willingness to handle diverse responsibilities.
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in a startup environment is beneficial.
