Senior Mainframe Developer

My client is a 1st-tier listed financial institution.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for development and project implementation activities, related to Mainframe systems
• Participate in the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to coding, testing, and implementation
• Conduct quality assurance and change management
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve complex issues and optimize system performance
• Uphold compliance with organization policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Minimum 10 years of experience in system analysis, design, and development on the IBM mainframe platform
• Solid expertise in IBM products - z/OS, DB2, COBOL, CICS, and MQ
• Experience in integrating applications between mainframe and open platforms
• Proficiency in software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies and documentation
• Experience working in the financial services industry or other highly regulated organizations
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication skills
