Senior Manager, Quantity Surveying

Our client is a renowned property developer with luxury residential, commercial, industrial and retail project in Hong Kong and overseas market. With strong pipelines recently, they are now actively looking for a Senior Manager, Quantity Surveying to handle their high-end residential projects in Hong Kong. 

 

Job Duties:

• Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documents for new developments
• Monitor project budgets, cash flows, and financial performance throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure cost-effective design solutions and value engineering
• Negotiate and administer contracts with consultants, contractors, and suppliers
• Conduct regular cost analysis and reporting to senior management
• Provide strategic advice on procurement strategies, cost control measures, and risk management
• Oversee the preparation of final accounts and settlement of variations
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and industry best practices

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or equivalent
• Member of HKIS / RICS
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with a focus on Large-scaled Residential project in Hong Kong
• Background from developer OR contractor are also welcomed
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost planning techniques
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager
