Senior Network Engineer

Our Government Authorization client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join their Infrastructure Network team to design and implement Network Infrastructure including Network, Cloud and workplace technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and assess requirements from internal and external stakeholders for network changes and implementations.
• Prepare, test, conduct, and document network changes and implementations.
• Develop scripts to automate network changes and testing for improved efficiency and accuracy.
• Contribute to digitalization and automation projects for network engineering and service delivery modernization.
• Collaborate with network service providers and other parties for network implementation and support.
• Troubleshoot and investigate network problems as a second-level support, developing fixes to maintain high SLA.
• Foster team collaboration to maximize performance and resilience.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting IP networks and infrastructures.
• Experience in security, networking, and emerging technologies (Firewall, Routers, Switches, VPN, SDN, SD-WAN, Cloud computing, overlay network technology, etc.).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex IP networks.
• Experience in network automation programming with Python and other languages is preferred.
• Familiar with Ansible, Solarwinds, JIRA, and Confluence is an advantage.
• CCNP/CCIE/CISSP/CISA certifications is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, work independently.
• Willing to work on weekends or irregular hours for non office hours implementation.
