Software Engineer Frontend

Responsibilities :

• Lead the development of robust and user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Participate in the architectural design and planning of web applications
• Collaborate with back-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate front-end components seamlessly
• Utilise front-end frameworks and libraries to build scalable and maintainable applications
• Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to coding standards, and best practices
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure optimal page load times and responsiveness
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior front-end developers
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution of technical challenges

Requirements :

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Systems or other relevant disciplines
• 3+ years of experience in frontend engineering
• Excellent skills with JavaScript, CSS & HTML5
• Strong knowledge of Svelte framework and TypeScript 
• Experience with bug management software (e.g. JIRA)
• Experience in backend development with NodeJS will be considered as significant advantage
• Experience with modern CSS tools like Tailwind or similar will be considered as advantage
• Good communication skills in English & Chinese
