Software Engineer - UAT Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Software Engineer with a keen eye for detail and a strong foundation in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in PHP development and a solid understanding of UAT principles.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Collaborate with the development team to understand product design and functionality.
• Develop and execute test cases for PHP applications to verify product functionality according to user requirements.
• Perform UAT sessions to ensure that the developed functionality meets business requirements and is ready for release.
• Document test results, log bugs and issues, and work closely with developers to ensure they are resolved.
• Participate in creating test plans and mapping out testing strategies.
• Provide feedback to the development team and product managers regarding user experience and product improvements.
• Maintain a repository of regression and acceptance tests to ensure long-term product quality.
• Assist in the development of automated test scripts and tools to streamline the testing process.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in PHP programming and web development.
• Demonstrated experience in UAT testing and knowledge of QA methodologies.
• Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred.
