Job Description:

• Providing programming support to the development of a web-based Geographic Information System (GIS) platform to display various types of real-time weather observation data
• Providing programming support to the development and enhancement of web-based data visualisation platform displaying computer weather model products on Internet website
• Providing programming support to the development and enhancement of the flooding analytics
• Evaluating implementation options
• Nursing the above platforms and solving identified technical or teething problems
• Performing integration test and stress test on applications and downstream systems
• Preparing documentation and managing software

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in Computer Science or related subjects
• At least 3 years in application development using programming languages and various development environments such as Javascript and web programming
• At least 1 year in PHP programming & Geographic Information System (GIS)
• At least 1 year in software testing management
• Good knowledge and/or experience in software libraries for interactive maps such as OpenLayers and Leaflet is preferred.
• Good communication skills
