Intern, Purchasing Assistant

What will I be doing

As the Purchasing Intern, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

1. Support the upcoming 2024 APAC Leadership meeting from procurement perspective, especially in the area of organizing supplier's sponsorship and FOC ( Free of Charge) goods:

. Develop sponsorship agreements with the suppliers who committed to offer sponsorship. Follow through the whole contract development, review, signing and filing process.

. Follow up the sponsorship cash/ FOC ( Free of Charge) goods collection from the suppliers.

. Follow up with the sponsored supplier's for booth set up etc.

. Food & Beverage department has sent us a list of the goods they would like us to source for the event. We need to source and negotiate for either sponsorship or a competitive pricing, also need to follow with the FOC goods collection or PO handling.

. Need to coordinate the suppliers arrangement during the conference days on site.

2. Work together with our current Purchasing Assistant to provide daily assistance support to the department:

. Data analysis and report generation

. Follow up the signing and filing of supplier master agreements

. Administration work for the department

What are we looking for

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• Fluency in English and Mandarin
• Analytical knowledgeable of statistics and good at computer excel skill
• Careful and reliable. Have good sense of communication.
• Can work at least 4 days per week, at least 6 months.
