Summer Intern (Physical Education)

Salary: $11,200 per month

Entry Requirements: Applicants should -
(a) be permanent residents of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region;
(b) be full-time students of post-secondary institutions (except final year graduates);
(c) studying Physical Education or Sports related subjects such as Physical Education, Sports Science;
(d) possess good knowledge in computer applications (including Chinese input method); and
(e) have good command of spoken and written Chinese and English.

Duties: To provide administrative support to:
(a) physical education projects;
(b) professional development programmes for teachers;
(c) production of learning and teaching materials;
(d) compilation of statistical report; and
(e) routine office duties.

Terms of Appointment: Successful interns will be engaged on non-civil service contract terms for a period of not more than three months from mid-June to mid-August 2024.

Fringe Benefits Rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), sick leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted in accordance with the provisions of the Employment Ordinance

Hong Kong students studying in local post-secondary institutions should apply through the Student Affairs Offices/Career Centres of their respective institutions. You are advised to note the deadlines set by the respective institutions.

Students studying in non-local post-secondary institutions should complete the application form and send to the address below on or before the closing date (according to postmark). Applicants should state clearly on their application form the post they apply for, e.g. "Summer Intern (Physical Education)". They should also state "Application for the post of Summer Intern" on the envelope.

To avoid delayed or unsuccessful delivery of applications by post, please ensure that the correct address is clearly printed or written on the envelope and sufficient postage has been affixed before posting. Mail items bearing insufficient postage will not be delivered to this Bureau and will be returned to the sender or disposed of by the Hongkong Post, where appropriate. Applicants will bear any consequences arising from paying insufficient postage.

Interviews will normally be conducted in early May 2024. Applicants may assume that their applications are unsuccessful if they have not been invited for interview by end May 2024.
