Job Description : Logistics Summer Intern
Dell Global Inbound Logistics team belongs to Dell Global Logistics and Trade department. We are taking care of the logistics network design and shipment operations from Asia Pacific to the worldwide Dell factories and Merge Centers for Dell finish goods as well as materials by all ship modes. What you will achieve
As a Logistics Summer Intern, you will conduct Logistics related air, ocean, truck and rail process research and benchmarking. You will work with global operation team on logistics related program.
You will

• Conduct Logistics related air, ocean, truck and rail process research and benchmarking
• KPIs tracking for sourcing strategies
• Drive necessary changes against search results to find out the cost saving/process improvement opportunities for Dell logistics networks
• Creating specifications for reports & data based on business need

Essential Requirements

• Year 2 of postgraduatesof Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, Computer Science, Electric Engineering, related major
• Basic data intelligence & analytics knowledge with Coding (C, C++, Python, R etc.) related experience would be a plus
• Collaboration with team members with strong communication skill in cross-functional team
• Self-motivated to drive expected result with appropriate guidance from buddy and project mentor
