Objectives of the Position
As part of the Industrial Petrochemicals Business Management team, you will be directly reporting to and coaching by Regional Marketing Director, Industrial Petrochemicals, Petrochemicals Asia Pacific and participate in regional marketing projects for a multiple hundred million Euros business.
Job Responsibilities
Spearhead a project focused on developing a pricing strategy for the spot market of Industrial Petrochemicals in South China by studying the behavior of competitors and assessing its impact on market prices
Under the mentorship of Regional Marketing Director, assess market information and future trends to develop segment roadmaps for the Asia Pacific region
Exposure and presentation to BASF senior leadership team on project recommendations
Requirements
Commitment to 3 to 6 months full-time internship from July 2024
Students of Master’s Degree, Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or related disciplines
Previous project experience or exposure to chemical industry will be a plus point
Any experience on commodity trading would be preferred
Proficiency in oral and written English & Chinese
Proficiency in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
