Actuarial Intern (Actuarial Department)

China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited (“China Life (Overseas)”) with presence in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Indonesia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Life Insurance (Group) Company, China’s largest financial insurance corporation.

Full time / Part time 6-month internship starting from NOW

Responsibilities:

• Support financial reporting and analysis under HKFRS & PRC GAAP basis, including quarterly statistics to regulator and business planning


• Review key assumptions supporting the valuation / pricing across various reporting metrics


• Maintain and enhance valuation / pricing / reinsurance models, manage model
  
  development process


• Assist in the research of actuarial and insurance information in the market


• Support ad hoc projects such as HKRBC, IFRS 17, experience studies, new product design and other future regulatory changes impact assessment

Requirements:

• Undergraduate students in Actuarial Science or related disciplines

  Thorough understanding of Hong Kong insurance market and culture

  Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English

  Good communication and presentation skills
