We are seeking highly motivated graduates and passionate individuals to join our accelerated sales trainee programme. This programme is designed as a foundation for a dynamic career in the sales stream of our retail banking business.

Programme Overview

Trainees will embark on a structured journey that combines diverse learning methods to ensure their professional growth. The comprehensive curriculum features structured classroom training integrated with practical, hands-on branch attachments. Participants will benefit from personalized coaching and guidance delivered by experienced sales managers and product specialists.

As a core component of the programme, each participant will be fully sponsored to obtain the required qualifications under the HKMA Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) for Retail Wealth Management, along with all necessary insurance and investment licenses.

The journey begins with building a solid foundation in general banking products before advancing to the high-value sectors of wealth management. Upon successful completion of this fast-track programme, participants will be promoted to the role of CITICfirst Relationship Manager, setting the stage for a successful and rewarding long-term career.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries at retail branches and deliver customer-focused solutions.

• Identify, solicit and explore business opportunities for retail banking products and services to achieve assigned businesses key performance indicators.

• Uphold the Bank’s image and contribute to its success by delivering high-quality customer services.

• Actively participate in marketing and promotional activities to acquire new customers and strengthen existing relationships.

• Comply with company procedures, policies and regulatory requirements to safeguard the interests of both customers and the Bank.

Requirements:

• Degree holder preferably in Business Administration.

• Possess IIQAS and other required qualifications under SFC for selling insurance and investment products will be an advantage.

• Self motivated and dedicated to develop his/her career in sales stream.

• Ability to work under pressure and strong desire to learn.

• High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers. 

• Good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua.
