About Our Client

Our client is the one of the largest American investment/ private banks, headquartered in New York City. They are now looking for a Client Services Trainee to join their private wealth management division to handle account opening, KYC documentation and trade executions for Ultra High Net Worth clients. The private wealth management division provides highly personalized, best in class investment advice, execution services, wealth management and banking solutions to Ultra High Net Worth individuals and families across the region. The program is designed to develop and grow future Client Service Manager professionals within the Private Wealth Management. The program begins with an intensive training bootcamp followed by structured on-the-job training and deployment.

Job Description

• Responsible for account opening, client onboarding, KYC documentations for Ultra High Net Worth clients
• Support private bank relationship managers in building and maintaining relationships with clients and attending to client queries in a timely and professional manner
• Execute client trade orders for global securities transactions
• Prepare reports and monitor risk indicators to help assess business trends
• Work closely with different internal stakeholders to gain front-to-back exposure

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or business management related discipline
• 1-2 years of working experience in account opening/ client onboarding/ client services/ trade execution/ ARM for private banking/ corporate banking/ institutional clients within banking industry
• Fresh graduates with relevant internships are also welcomed
• HKSI paper 1 passed (passed before onboarding)
• Grounded, client-focused approach with strong service orientation
• Strong team player, with the ability to work under pressure and tight timeframe
• Highly fluent in English and native in Mandarin/ Cantonese
