Graduate Trainee Program

China Life Insurance (Overseas) Company Limited (“China Life (Overseas)”) with presence in Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Indonesia is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China Life Insurance (Group) Company, China’s largest financial insurance corporation.

The Graduate Trainee Program offers a 6-month intensive and comprehensive journey to young talented graduates who graduated in the Year of 2019, 2020 & 2021. By joining the program, you will receive various opportunities to develop practical skills and professional expertise which are crucial in shaping your future career in financial & insurance industry. You may participate in one of the 4 divisions: Actuarial, Investment, Legal and Business Support. Each path will enable your career and personal development and pave the way for your future success.

The Program also provides a platform for fresh or recent graduates to:

• Transit from university into the real business environment


• Gain exposure in all aspects of life insurance industry including professional and general functions


• Being coached and mentored by senior managers


• Cultivate career interest and aspiration

In addition, trainees will acquire the following knowledge from training and on-the-job practice:

• Business Knowledge, Project & People Management Skills


• Communication, Presentation and other Soft Skills


• Attachment to different projects & job scopes to enrich and specialize skillsets

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Department in research of relevant information in the market


• Participate in new project launch and support ad hoc assignments


• Provide business and administrative support to different teams

Requirements:

• Recent university graduates of Year 2019, 2020 & 2021 with degree in Actuarial Science / Mathematics, Legal Studies, Business Administration or any related disciplines 


• Graduates with electives in the above disciplines as a second major will also be considered


• Proficient with MS Office(Word/Access/Excel/Power Point)


• Proficient in spoken and written English. Chinese as well as Mandarin


• Responsible, good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills


• Can-do attitude and willing to learn


• Candidates will be selected to each of the 4 divisions according to their background and interview results
