Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. The DBS Strategic Advisory team provides end-to-end solutions to help clients achieve business objectives, through transforming client's operations or enhancing shareholder value through mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team for a 3 month internship program (potential to extend based on merit). This program offers a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in the fast-paced and dynamic field of M&A and investment banking.
Responsibilities:
Transaction Support: Assist in various aspects of transaction execution, including preparing transaction-related documentation, coordinating due diligence efforts, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct Research: Conduct in-depth industry, market, and company-specific research to support transaction execution and marketing materials preparation.
Pitch Preparation: Collaborate with the team in preparing marketing materials for clients, including but not limited to teasers and presentations.
Financial Analysis: Support to build financial models and perform financial and valuation analysis for potential M&A opportunities.
Ad-hoc Projects and Database Maintenance: Assist in with ad-hoc projects and analysis and develop and update database on a regular basis.
Requirements:
Candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field. Recent graduates will also be considered.
Strong interest in M&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields, MUST demonstrated through prior working experience, coursework or projects.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; good command of English and Chinese, ideally both Mandarin and Cantonese will be preferred.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong desire to learn and contribute to a dynamic team.
