Product Specialist Intern (1-Year Program) Global Asset Management Leader

Our client is seeking a recent university graduate, or a candidate with 1–2 years of relevant experience, to join their dynamic Product Specialist team in Hong Kong. This 12‑month internship provides hands‑on exposure to client servicing, fundraising initiatives, and investment solutions across Asia — offering an exceptional platform to launch a career in global asset management.

Responsibilities

1. Analyze portfolios to prepare review materials for existing clients
2. Coordinate fundraising processes, develop marketing materials, and prepare RFPs for Asia-focused private equity funds and separate accounts
3. Respond to client requests with timely and accurate information
4. Compose market updates using both internal insights and independent research
5. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure consistent communication and data output
6. Conduct data analysis and Excel modeling
7. Support client servicing for Asian mandates and investment solutions

Requirements

1. Strong academic background from a leading university
2. Prior internship experience in asset management , investment banking or consulting preferred
3. Excellent English writing and communication skills; proficiency in another language is a plus
4. Self-starter with an international mindset, motivated and proactive
5. Strong organizational, analytical, and data processing skills
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
7. Team player with excellent communication skills
