Marketing Executive - Part-Time

Purpose of the position: 

This incumbent will be assisting our brand marketing team in daily execution for both online and offline brand and marketing strategies and plans for the 5 media brands of SCMP Magazines, namely Cosmopolitan HK, Harper’s BAZAAR HK, ELLE HK, Esquire HK and ELLE Men HK.

In this role, you will:

• Identify and source materials required for marketing campaigns, such as printed materials, promotional items, trophies and merchandise.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and provide feedback on design concepts and material quality.
• Collaborate with artwork designers to develop creative concepts and artwork for marketing materials.
• Liaise with vendors and production houses to ensure timely production and delivery of materials.
• Assist in crafting copy for marketing promotions, including social media posts, display banner content, and email newsletters.
• Proofread & ensure that the copy aligns with the brand's tone of voice and effectively communicates key messages.
• Collaborate with the sales and editorial teams to ensure post-event media entitlement coverage is delivered as per agreements.
• Assist in preparing reports and summaries of media entitlement coverage, highlighting key metrics and achievements.
• Assist in generating marketing campaign idea that effectively target and engage audiences
• Conduct market research 
• Provide support event onsite execution
• Perform other admin and clerical work by managers 

Skills and Experience that will lead to success:

• Bachelor Degree or diploma holder in Communication, Business Administration or related disciplines
• 1 year of experience in marketing, event management is preferred
• Interested in marketing, media or advertising field
• A good communicator and presenter, good at both English and Chinese languages
• Understanding of media, social media, fashion, beauty, and other luxurious and lifestyle industries is a plus 
• Possess a growth mindset and are intellectually curious, challenging the status quo, and understand the evolving digital landscape
• 3 days/ week, 6 months renewable contract 

Work location will be at Wong Chuk Hang office
