Ref. no : O/KT-PO/Term_Temp_PTD_AL(SEN)/01/23 Major Duties:
(a) To assist in carrying out duties in relation to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and academic administration namely special assessment arrangement, exemption and related logistic arrangement;
(b) To provide additional tutorial support, remedial classes, mentorship, or other related format to support the learning of students with SEN;
(c) To liaise and work with academic departments and supporting units to provide academic support for students with SEN;
(d) To assist in developing programme curriculum, teaching materials and project work specifically for students with SEN;
(e) To perform teaching duties and assist in supervision of students’ projects; and
(f) To provide support in coordinating and implementing dedicated services / activities for students with SEN. Requirements:
(a) A recognised degree, preferably in Social Science, Social Work, or relevant discipline, preferably with a post-graduate qualification;
(b) Preferably with relevant teaching and/or industry experience;
(c) Applicants having experience in working with students with SEN will be an advantage; and
(d) Good communication and presentation skills in both English and Chinese. Notes:
(1) The post is in the rank of “Teaching Associate”.
(2) Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a written assessment in English.
(3) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties in different location and/or outside normal office hours.
(4) Immediate availability is preferred.
