The appointee shall engage in delivering lectures and conducting tutorials for the Faculty. Requirements:
The successful candidate should have a Master’s degree, preferably a doctoral degree, in Product Design, Design Strategy / Management, Technology / Business Innovation, Service Design or related fields. Candidates should have at least 4 years of teaching experience at tertiary level and/or industry experience in relevant fields. Candidates with (1) strong connections with the industry and demonstrate the ability to obtain high profile internship / exchange opportunities for students; (2) experience in supervising students’ Final Year Projects (FYP) and thesis writing; (3) strong portfolio of product commercialisation from concept to production will have an advantage. The candidate should be a good team player, have good interpersonal and communication skills, and high proficiency in English and preferably in Chinese, including Putonghua. Preference will be given to candidates with membership of professional institutions such as the HKDA, IDSHK and CSD. Notes:
(1) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and work irregular hours, including Saturdays and Sundays.
(2) The remuneration package will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
