Part-time Sociology Lecturer

Established on the Clear Water Bay Campus in 1939, Hong Kong Adventist College offers a Christian education based on the Seventh-day Adventist philosophy of the nature of God, man, and truth. Its educational emphasis is on the development of the whole person, mentally, physically, and spiritually. The college currently has non-local degree programs in psychology, health and fitness, religion, and business affiliated with Andrews University in the USA. To meet our business growth, we are seeking the right candidate to fill a part-time position of Sociology Lecturer (Daytime) in Clear Water Bay for the 2024-2025 school year.

Requirements:

• At least a Master degree in Sociology
• Teaching experience at tertiary level will be an advantage
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English
• Available from August 26, 2024

Description:

The General Education Department at Hong Kong Adventist College is urgently seeking a part-time Sociology Lecturer for the 2024-2025 school year. Duties include: teaching undergraduate Principles of Sociology course, with effective class management skills, and the ability to motivate students are required.
